Laptops
More and more laptops are being purchased by our district. More teachers are finding themselves in charge of a time saving device that can be viewed as an anchor or a blessing. The following information will help you feel more comfort with your laptop.

5 Things I would change about education.
I was tagged by girlfromkansas to write about what I would change about education. The rules are in bold.
“List FIVE changes you would like to see in the educational system. Your responses should represent your perspective and your passion for learning and students…tag the following people…from a variety of perspectives. If you have been tagged, tag as many people as you choose, but try for a variety.”
1) Get out of the same old way of doing things.
2) Each child has their own learning plan. However they learn best is how they are allowed to learn.
3) Teachers are rewarded for students that do well. Not monetarily but intrinsically.
4) Testing is done to set a standard of teaching not as a way to be paraded around in papers as to how bad our schools are doing.
5) Data is compared not from year to year but from student to student. Sophomores from this years class have nothing to do with last years class. Look at each student as an individual. Not as a group.
